Sun of the Desert is general store with two locations (Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms). I created an exterior mural for the Joshua Tree shop’s back hangout area, inspired by golden hour in the high desert. The concept features the sun setting over iconic Joshua Tree boulders, with a bold yet minimal design. A little abstraction keeps the piece visually striking while allowing it to complement rather than overpower the outdoor space.
